Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management( PGDL & SCM )

Course Objective

The objective of the course is to provide contemporary state of art inputs in the area of Logistics Management and Supply Chain . The explosion of Information Technology & the emergence of E-commerce have provided the organizations to feel the importance of Supply Chain &Logistics as a strategic weapon for competing at the market place to provide value added services to customer and at the same time reduce the total cost.

A Board of Studies consisting of leading personalities from academic and professional field controls the courses at the national level. The faculty is drawn from experts in industry, educational and professional institutions in the country.

The syllabus has been structured at par with IFPSM standards giving due consideration to the Indian economic environment.

Admission

Twice Jan/July every year through entrance test and viva-voce

Prospectus can be obtained from 51 branches & Headquarter by payment of Rs 1000/- in cash or can be downloaded from website www.iimm.org home page.

Eligibility Criteria

Any Graduate Degree from a Recognized University.

Mode of Education

Distance Education.

Duration

2 years – 4 semesters of 6 months each.

Recognition

All India Council for Technical Education (Permanent ID No. 1-7369703621) by AICTE letter dated 25th June 2021 and recommendation letter dated 31st May 2022.

Study Material & Academic guidance

Exhaustive and comprehensive study material will be supplied to students after the receipt of Semester fees
Students are provided with the list of other reference books (which is mentioned in the each text book) for preparing for the examination.
Contact classes will help the students to interact with other students in the batch and get a better understanding of the subject. Doubt clearing lectures will be conducted at IIMM Centers by senior industry professionals so as to update current affairs/ case studies in the Logistics & SCM fraternity.

Examinations

Conducted twice a year, commences during June & December.
Theory papers will carry a maximum of 100 marks.(However weight age will be given as 70% for Theory out of 100 marks and 30 marks for assignment) It is compulsory to pass separately in assignment as well as theory.

Self Study Project Report

The candidate is required to submit a self-study project report as part of fulfilment of the programme in 4th
Semester.
Project report will carry 100 marks & Viva Voce will carry 50 marks.
